Groundnut bud necrosis (GBNV) (Orthotospovirus Groundnut Bud Necrosis Virus) is a viral pathogen of large variety of plants.

This plant disease is caused by a virus most likely vectored by thrips. Infection results in wilting, reduced harvest, and eventual plant mortality.
