Caribbean fruit fly; Carib fly (Anastrepha suspensa) is an insect pest of tropical and subtropical fruits. It is a native of West Indies and was first detected in Florida in 1930.

In Florida, only very ripe citrus has been attacked. However, a species of insect, sometimes acts substantially differently when introduced into new areas and may become a serious pest of commercial citrus, mangoes, and peaches in Florida.
