Diuraphis noxia

Russian wheat aphid (Diuraphis noxia) is an insect pest of wheat and barley. It is a native of Europe and Asia and was first detected in Texas in 1986.

While feeding, the aphid injects toxins into the host plant which causes stunted growth and longitudinal white streaks in the leaves and stems.
