Apis mellifera european

European honey bee (Apis mellifera european) is a beneficial insect. It is a native of Europe and was first detected in Virginia in 1986.

The most commonly kept of honey bees race in North America, South America and southern Europe. They are kept commercially all over the world. They are very gentle, not very likely to swarm, and produce a large surplus of honey.
