Giant wood wasp

Giant wood wasp (Urocerus gigas gigas) is an insect pest.

U. gigas is not known to adversely impact healthy trees or cause significant mortality on its own, but indirect effects stem from fungi carried by U. gigas which can weaken or kill trees.
