Seed-gall nematode

Anguina funesta

Seed-gall nematode (Anguina funesta) is a nematode pest of Ryegrass. It is a native of Australia and was first detected in Oregon in 1940- mid 1960's.

Galls infected with the bacterium, Rathayibacter toxicus, are fatally toxic to grazing livestock.
