Denseflower cordgrass (Spartina densiflora) is an invasive plant. It is a native of Chile and was first detected in California.
Spartina densiflora is a rhizomatous perennial grass found in salt marshes. It tolerates high salinity and grows especially well in higher tidal marsh, where it is known to displace native plants.
