Daylily rust

Puccinia hemerocallidis

Daylily rust (Puccinia hemerocallidis) is a fungal pathogen of Daylily. It is a native of Asia and was first detected in Southeast United States in 2000.

Generally not deadly, this wind blown fungus quickly spreads. Without protection, the rust does not survive in the colder winter areas.
